Get those recruiters swiping right on your profile before they’ve even started scrolling. LinedIn feature images are often a missed opportunity to shine. Use it as a canvas to showcase your best achievements. For example, you could use a timeline image of your career to date – see our tiktok for inspiration.

2. Pull Up to The Search Results

Show up in search results. How? 

Keywords.

Sprinkle those keywords into the mix and you’re sure to start popping up in recruiter’s searches.

3. Don’t Forget The Seasoning

Spruce up your profile with niche skills and experiences. 

What can you bring to the table? Think about anything you’ve been (reluctantly) roped into – mentoring your younger cousin, work experience with a family friend, anything extra curricular – that’s your ticket. 

These extra flavours can make all the difference.

4. Take it to The Tailors

If your industry is marketing, how can your experience reflect this?

It’s 3 shifts at the local pizzeria to some people, but it could also be a story of helping a small business acquire the marketing materials to bring in new customers. You worked in close partnership with the manager to master the tricks of the trade and showed initiative when you helped create their first promo flyer. 

5. Most Importantly, Receipts.

Once you’ve entered your skills and achievements, it’s time to get your galdem to endorse you. With the promise of returning the favour, it’s a win, win.

Recommendations and endorsements reassure recruiters and gives your profile that virtual stamp of approval.
